Ninth Ward Switching

The East Industrial Job comes to life at the Public Belt's Claiborne Yard in New Orleans' Ninth Ward with NOPB #2002, one of eight "low emission" GMTX GP38-2s picked up by the railroad last year. On the other side of the Claiborne Avenue Bridge in the Lower Ninth Ward was the site of one of the worst levee breaches during Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
