Champaign

IC #1033 rolls into Champaign after meeting a pair of southbounds at Tolono. The depot on the right was built in 1924 to replace an older 1899 building that was moved about a block north. As many as four tracks once converged behind the Champaign depot, and as late as 1967, eight passenger trains passed through the station every day.
