Terminal Approach

At Callowhill Junction, the Ninth Street Branch (Reading Viaduct) and City Branch joined together for the final approach to Reading Terminal. Today, the viaduct ends just short of Vine Street, as the remainder of the right-of-way was demolished in the late 1980s to make way for the construction of the Vine Street Expressway.
