The Loop
After becoming a daily CTA rider and after my experiences with the NYC subway last month, I decided to waste Friday by exploring the CTA between Howard and The Loop, starting off at Clark/Lake. At Clark/Lake, looking west towards Tower 18, we see Orange Line #718 passing a refuribished 3200-Series on Brown Line #415. Now with the 5000-Series deliveries complete, the 2600 Series remain the oldest active rolling stock on the 'L' fleet; they are scheduled to be retired by 7000-Series once they hit the 40-year mark.
