Minimodels scalex Jaguar XK120
My 1952 friction drive Jaguar XK120.
Made by Minimodels Scalex brand. Note the name on the side wall of front tyre. In 1956 the cars were converted and fitted with electric motors and Scalextric slot racing was born.Sold to the Tri-Ang group in 1958.
This one was a push down at the front and pull backwards to wind the motor, note the winding wheel under the car. It still works.
