ptarmigan

we came across this female ptarmigan on our way up to the Cairnwell. she was walking around us and she was 'purring' quietly in her ptarmigan language :) while we were taking pictures. only wee while later we noticed little yellow bundles of fluff running after her... That was one of the most exciting moments.
