LOCAL Lab 2016

Local Theatre's LOCAL Lab new-play festival returned for its 5th year March 11-13, 2016 at eTown Hall. The featured readings were "Lottie in the Late Afternoon" by Amelia Roper; Michael Yates Crowley's "The Rape of the Sabine Women, by Grace B. Matthias"; and "The History Room," by Charlie Thurston. Also: Local Theater Company's Mare Trevathan and Jill Rafson of the Roundabout Theatre Company used both actors and community members to start the development of a new devised theatrical piece called 'Tone,' exploring how we make ourselves understood - or not - in the digital age.
