Mailbox Vandalism

A police officer came to take a report. He did not believe that the damage was done by a driver because there were no tire tracks or skid marks anywhere and our mailbox had actually been taken. Three days later, someone came in the dark of night and threw our box back into our garden! No one was ever caught. Mailbox tampering is a federal crime.
