Preparing for Mission Peanut Retrieval

Almost everyone knows how much squirrels love nuts and autumn season is caching time for many animals. Squirrels are no exception even though they don't hibernate. Since the squirrels have decimated most of my bird feeders in their attempts to get the food, I've given up and taken a new approach, just give them what they want! So, I put out a mixture of corn, sunflower seeds, and peanuts, sat down with my camera and waited for the fun to begin. The following series is the result.
