It was a scheduled road run for several clubs of street car enthusiasts otherwise known as hot rodder's.
The plan was to meet at Port Macquarie for a get-together following a two year hiatus due to Covid.
However it was not some mysterious disease that kept them away but rather it was Mother Nature.
For a week prior the mid north coast of New South Wales was deluged with rain, and it rained and it rained.
It resulted in many 'no shows' for the event but it certainly didn't dampen the enthusiasm of those who did attend.
I captured this image of a a highly polished shaker on one of the cars following what was yet another unexpected downpour but I feel that it only added to the image.
