Perhaps the most elementary lesson a photographer needs to learn is to check the background.

Not looking past the flowers in the pot, I finished up with the dish rack and sink in full relief in the background.

I was amazed at the depth of field the small drop lens provided, in spite of the very shallow dof of the MP-E 65mm lens.
