I so wanted to finally take a good "Dice" photo (I think I already skipped a dice theme once before) but none of my ideas worked. It's easier with my little date cubes which I photographed three times for different MM themes but these aren't dice in the true sense. But since I rolled the dice and they gave me a suspicious number combination (1 and 6), it's time for another "MM substitute" photo: a white feather I photographed in 2022. It's a photo from February but the colours and mood are decidedly Novembrish. Ever since November started, it's dull, dark, and grey, as if someone in charge of the weather had flipped the switch to "November weather".

The feather had fallen onto a thorny hedge of a front garden in my street and was "secured" by one of the thorns. It stayed there for several days before being carried away by the wind. I had walked by a few times, always thinking "This could look nice in a photo", before I finally decided to bring my Oly and the then-new 20mm lens along and take the photo.

Since I processed this image long ago, I can't tell you much about the processing steps anymore but I know that I added a texture in Analog Efex.

Happy Macro Mondays to all the "Dice" participants, and enjoy your week. If it's as dark and grey as here, let the sun shine from within :)
