A Key to my Heart

I've already photographed this tiny key (a pendant, supposedly, but I've never used it as such) for another MM theme, "Highkey" back in August 2017. You can find the photo in the first comment, there you can also see how small this miniature key is. Since it says "Del Cuore" on one side of the key's head I thought I'd combine it with an old silver heart pendant that I've also already used for another MM theme from 2017, "Heart".
I've placed both miniature items on a mirror tile that creates distorted reflections. Light sources were one LED light, equipped with the semi-transparent yellow plastic bottle cap, from the left, one plain LED light slightly from the right/front. I was also lucky that the early evening sun shone brightly through the living room window so I could use the glass prism to create some nice rainbow colour reflections on the heart – a lot of hit-and-miss (as usual, because the triangle-shaped prism reflects the colours everywhere except on the desired subject, but in the end, I succeeded – and the neighbours from across the street must have thought that I'm performing a weird light ritual when I waved my arm with the prism in my hand around by the open window) ;) This final image is an in-camera focus stacking consisting of 15 single images. Btw, I'd set the focus on shadow metering, and adjusted the exposure control accordingly. It helps tremendously to protect the highlights.
HMM, Everyone!
