MELH in Mono

More monochrome, and more from Berlin's government district. You've already seen this building, the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH), several times in my stream. From this point of view, you can see how huge this building complex really is. And since it's Monochrome Thursday, and the sun had mostly been hiding behind the clouds on that day in May (so the light had not been so nice most of the time) I thought I'd process it in black and white. I decided against a version with one or more boats in it, because the boats were always covering the people in front of the MELH, and I thought it would actually be much nicer with that busy city bustle and the tiny people. And I think (pleasure) boats should be presented in colour 😉

Noch mehr SW und noch mehr vom Berliner Regierungsviertel. Das Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH) habt Ihr ja schon des Öfteren in meinem Stream gesehen. Von diesem Standpunkt aus (mit dem Reichstagsgebäude im Rücken) kann man aber besonders gut sehen, wie groß der Komplex tatsächlich ist. Und weil heute Donnerstagsmonochrom an der Reihe ist und sich die Sonne an jenem Tag im Mai meistens hinter den dicken Wolken versteckt hatte (und deshalb das Licht nicht so toll war), dachte ich, ich probiere mal eine SW-Version. Ich habe mich gegen ein Foto mit Boot(en) auf der Spree entschieden, weil Letztere unweigerlich das geschäftige Treiben vor dem MELH verdeckt hätten, was ich hier (und in SW) aber ganz spannend finde. Und außerdem "müssen" Ausflugsdampfer in Farbe gezeigt werden, oder 😉 ?
