Egg: Ripley's Nemesis
These culinary themes are killing me ;-). Welcome to "Alien X - Ripley's Nemesis". Ellen Ripley (or her nth clone) finally settled down, back on Earth, in a beautiful house with a garden and some hens... Cho.les.te.rol. After all the Alien came from an egg, too. Actually this is an "Avocado Egg", egg put in an avocado and baked (or steamed, it works, too). Quite delicious, but for my taste the textures of egg and avocado are too similar. The bit on the lower left corner is avocado, the rest: egg (and some bit of pepper on the right).
I flipped the image to the right just for fun, and this is when the Alien appeared ;-) The background actually was "window blue" again, to make it look more "Alien"-like, I knocked out the background in Photoshop and filled it with a green-to black gradient.
Komische Dinge aus meiner Küche, Teil 8: Ein Ei in der Nahansicht, Ellen Ripley's ärgster Feind, jetzt auch in der Küche. Von wegen Cholesterin und so ;-) Eier sind aber besser als ihr immer mal wieder ramponierter Ruf und stecken voller guter Inhaltsstoffe. Im Bild: Eigentlich ein "Avocado-Ei", das Thema war eine willkommene Gelegenheit, das mal auszuprobieren (lecker, wird aber kein Favorit, weil die Konsistenzen von Ei und Avocado zu ähnlich sind für meinen Geschmack). Als ich das Bild aus Spaß einmal nach rechts gedreht hatte, erschien plötzlich das "Alien". Und da meine eigentliche Idee mal wieder nichts wurde, und ich weder am Sonntag noch heute Zeit hatte, was anderes zu machen, ist es nun Zeit für "Alien X - Ripley's Nemesis".
Unten links ist ein wenig Avocado zu sehen, als Hintergrund, der ursprünglich "Fenster-Blau" war, habe ich einen "Alien-Grün"-zu-Schwarz-Verlauf verwendet.
