The Casper Sandstone

I had the luxury of meeting a fellow Flickr user this afternoon. I got to explain my research and explore the surrounding area. This is the Casper sandstone. About a mile west of this location this rock is covered by a shale. I am trying to understand the hydrologic properties of this rock using geophysics.
