Keeping hope alive

Bellwort (uvularia) is a flower native to eastern North America, closely related to the lily family. I've been watching this patch expand for a couple of decades; doing so despite the fact that the area is being overrun by invasive honeysuckle, imported from Asia, which secretes poisons from its roots to prohibit other plants from growing.
