Fetal Face
In this 3D image, given by ultrasound, Dr. Layyous provides an image of a fetal face. Many patients look forward to this scan which usually happens in weeks 18-20 (commonly referred to as the anatomy scan) as a way to see the developing fetus and check the anatomical features. In terms of the fetal face, the eyes, lips, skull, and jaws are imaged, ensuring that everything appears normal and there is no cleft lip.
