Traitors' Gate

Traitors' Gate is the entrance from the River Thames, through which many prisoners, during the Tudor period, were brought to the Tower of London.

The Tower of London was built during the reign of William the Conqueror, but the gate was built over 200 years later, during the reign of Edward Ist.
