Worcester Cathedral

Commenced soon after the 1066 Norman conquest of England, Worcester Cathedral was eventually completed in its present form in 1504.

King John, of Magna Carta fame, is interred within the cathedral.

Although it is an Anglican cathedral, its official name is 'The Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Mary the Virgin of Worcester'.
