Southern California Wildflowers

Because of the plentiful rains this past winter and fall, there is an abundance of wildflowers in our area now. These California Sunflowers are in a vacant field across from a large shopping mall in Santee, California. I used my 50 mm lens set to F1.8 for this shot because I wanted everything to blur except for the one flower that I focused on. I like the bokeh this lens creates, and I should use it more often.
