Beautiful Shell 2016A

This is an old sea shell that we've had for quite a few years now, as it was brought back from a trip to Bahia de Los Angeles in Baja California, Mexico.

Lighting: I used two Yongnuo manual strobes in 8.6 inch Lastolite soft boxes positioned on either side of the shell and pointed at the center at a 45 degree angle. The strobes and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 2000 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/

Other shells that I've photographed can be seen in my creatively named Shell album, and there are over 200 of them.
