October Bird Of Paradise Flower From The Garden

I picked this flower from the garden this afternoon, and brought it indoors to photograph where it's easier to control the light.

Lighting info: This was a two light setup with the main light being a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box on the left side of the flower, and a Rogue grid for back lighting positioned behind the flower at camera right. Fill light on the flower come from a hand mirror in front of the flower at camera right. The flash and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1900 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/albums/72157628079460544

Other pictures that I've taken of Birds of Paradise flowers can be seen in my creatively titled Birds of Paradise album, and there are exactkt 100 of them.
