Bauhinia Flower In The Light

My wife spotted this flower on a tree in a local parking lot so we picked one of them and brought it home so I could light and photograph it.

Lighting stuff: Lit with a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box positioned at camera left and just out of the frame. Fill light came from a mirror at camera right. The flash and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1800 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
