Looking Sideways At A Sunflower

This is a cut flower that I photographed indoors where it's easier to control the light.

Lighting: The main light was a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box on a light stand at camera right. Fill light is from a hand held mirror at camera left. Back lighting is from a second Yonguo manual flash in a Rogue grid to focus the light. The strobes and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1800 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
