Colorful Lily In The Light

I found this colorful flower in a parking lot this morning and brought it home to exploit where it's easier to control the light.

Lighting stuff: This was a two light setup with the main light being a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box positioned at camera left and just out of the frame, and a 2nd flash in a rogue grid behind the blower at camera right to back light the petals. I also used a hand mirror to reflect some light back onto the right side of the flower. The strobes and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1800 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
