Orange And Yellow Nasturitum In The Light
Well, the sun finally came out today after a long wet spell and I was able to go out into the garden to find a flower I could bring inside to exploit. There are nasturtiums all over the place right now, so I grabbed one.
Lighting: A two light setup with the main light being a Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box, hand held at camera left. I also back lit the flower with another Yongnuo flash in a Rogue grid behind the flower at camera right. The two strobes, and my tripod mounted camera, were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.
Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1500 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
