Golden Tulips In The Light

I photographed these flowers last spring, but never posted this particular picture.

Lighting: Lit with one Yongnuo manual flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box hand held at camera left and just out of the frame. Fill light is from a hand mirror at camera right. I used side lighting because that creates the shadows that reveal shapes and textures. The flash and my tripod mounted camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.

Other plants, flowers, fruit or stuff that I've photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. For each image in the set, and there are over 1500 of them, I describe how I set up the lighting for that particular shot. www.flickr.com/photos/9422878@N08/sets/72157628079460544/
