Shapes And Textures In A Golden Leaf
I'm always looking for subjects to photograph, and I like leaves as objects to light and exploit. I used side lighting here because that creates the shadows that reveals shapes and textures.
Lighting: Lit with one Yongnuo flash in an 8.6 inch Lastolite soft box at camera right and just out of the frame. Fill light came from a hand held mirror at camera left. The flash and camera were triggered with a Yongnuo RF-603N.
I find leaves to be beautiful objects from nature and have an album creative titled Leaves with over 60 images in it.
