Shapes And Textures In A Gold Leaf
This is what passes for fall color in southern California. It's from a fruitless mulberry tree growing in out garden.
I wanted to emphasize shapes and textures so I set it on a piece of black Perspex and lit it from the side with a YN560-III in a 24 inch soft box placed at camera left. Fill light came from a small mirror at camera right. The flash, in manual mode, was triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
I find leaves to be beautiful, and have an album of leaf pictures, if you like that sort of thing..
