On 14 September 2024, the South of the Netherlands commemorated the fact that Operation Market-Garden took place 80 years earlier. In Sint-Oedenrode (NL), 200 vehicles from around 1944 travelled the same route as they did during Market-Garden. Again, there were thousands of people on the side of the road, waving to the liberators.
