L''arazzo illustra l'incontro tra Eliseo e Naaman, capo dell'esercito del re di Siria, quando il profeta rifiutò i doni offertigli dal condottiero. Nella parte sinistra dell'arazzo è raffigurato Naaman, coperto da un veste rosata e da un mantello blu, con un turbante sul capo. Egli cammina verso Eliseo, posto sulla destra, indicandolo. Naaman offre al profeta dei doni: i dromedari, i buoi e le greggi che sono raffigurati sullo sfondo e verso cui Eliseo apre la mano sinistra. La mano destra aperta di Eliseo sembra indicare il suo rifiuto.
The tapestry illustrates the encounter between Elisha and Naaman, leader of the army of the king of Syria, when the prophet refused the gifts offered to him by the leader. The left side of the tapestry depicts Naaman, covered in a rosy robe and blue cloak, with a turban on his head. He walks toward Elisha, placed on the right, pointing at him. Naaman offers the prophet gifts: the dromedaries, oxen and flocks that are depicted in the background and toward which Elisha opens his left hand. Elisha's open right hand seems to indicate his rejection.
