Nel corso della propria vita, lo stabilimento Lingotto produsse decine di modelli di automobili, come la Torpedo, la Balilla, la Topolino, la Fiat 1100 R e la sportiva X 1/9 con la rivoluzionaria posizione centrale del motore. L'attività produttiva fu parzialmente interrotta nel 1939, in pieno inizio della seconda guerra mondiale, essendo la stessa fabbrica un obiettivo delle incursioni militari aeree su Torino. L'anno successivo infatti, una parte della produzione fu già spostata nel più grande stabilimento torinese, non molto lontano, chiamato Fiat Mirafiori, per lì continuare un lungo e fiorente sviluppo industriale dal dopoguerra fino agli anni ottanta.
Il Lingotto invece, fu ufficialmente spento nel 1982; l'ultimo modello in produzione fu quello della Lancia Delta prima serie del 1979.
Over the course of its life, the Lingotto factory produced dozens of car models, such as the Torpedo, the Balilla, the Topolino, the Fiat 1100 R and the sporty X 1/9 with the revolutionary central engine position. The production activity was partially interrupted in 1939, at the very beginning of the Second World War, the factory being a target of the military air raids on Turin. The following year, in fact, part of the production was already moved to the largest Turin plant, not far away, called Fiat Mirafiori, to continue a long and flourishing industrial development from the post-war period until the 1980s.
The Lingotto instead, was officially shut down in 1982; the last model in production was that of the Lancia Delta first series of 1979
