Thanksgiving cactus, Schlumbergera truncata

I always have such a feeling of sadness when the first frost takes away the last of my wonderful garden flowers and the wildflowers that I find so incredibly enjoyable throughout the seasons. Having wonderful long-blooming cacti (they are actually epiphytes) in my house brings brightness and pleasure!
