White Stork.
Lesvos, Greece.
The White Stork (cironia ciconia) Typically found in the lowlands. It is also a passing migrant that nests on the island, mainly on the tall chimneys of old olive presses. It feeds on marine organisms in marshes and salt pan channels. During spring, it puts on a mating display, tilting its head backwards and rattling its beak loudly.
