A relatively rare freight working on the line from Euxton Junction to Bolton. 60026 "Helvellyn" powers away from the WCML and towards Buckshaw Parkway with 6J84 for Brindle Heath Eurofreight. The train had started at Horton in Ribblesdale Quarry two days previously but had been recessed at Blackburn due to severe signalling issues on the WCML caused by cable theft. This working is a run as required service, but hopefully will bring a bit of variety among the normal diet of DMU and EMUs that ply there trade along this busy line.
