Elseworlds Hulk #0: Application

My name is Bruce Banner.

 

I'm a professor at the university in Boston and I just survived an explosion. I was in my office at the university just getting ready to leave, it was about 7 pm, the sun began to set. Just as I was about to leave the building I saw a green glow come from the class across the hall, I went over to see what it was. What I saw was a big gamma bomb sitting on a desk in the middle of the room, I walked over to it and looked at it, the closer I got the brighter the light became. Once I realized what it was I ran for the door, but it was too late. The bomb exploded, I felt like I was being ripped apart into different pieces, then everything went black.

I woke lying on the floor of the classroom, the walls were mostly gone from the explosion and rubble covered the floor. I tried to pull myself up but I couldn't, my whole body felt weak.

 

"Ah, your awake." A familiar sounding voice said.

 

"Wha...who!?" I yell.

 

"Hello Mr. Banner, my name is Mr. Fixit, I am a Hulk."

 

"What the Hell is a Hulk?"

 

"We are a part of you, a different version of you, created by the gamma bomb."

 

"Wait, there's more of you?"

 

"Yes, but I'm the only one who decided to stay, see I'm the...most logical version of you, I relate to the scientific side of you."

 

"Okay...so where did the others go?"

 

"I do not know...but I can help you to find them. The Hulks must be brought back together."
