As some people here know, my vocation was that of military musician. Once in a while, my two lives get to converge.
Last Sunday, I photographed the Imperial Cornet Band (mdmilband.org/the-imperial-cornet-band/), a group assembled and directed by my friend Jari Villanueva. They recreate a small town or military band of the World War I era, and needed a group photo for an upcoming engagement. Here is the result.
In August 2019 The Imperial Cornet Band will participate in the Vintage Band Festival in Northfield, MN. If you are in the area, check them out!
