leave a light on for me
Heading out early tomorrow morning for a day-long business trip. I am excited to go, but anxious about the early hour and always worry about whether or not I'll hear the alarm clock and get up in time. (3 am? yikes?!)
My sunglasses remind me of being "on the road", and the light in the kitchen window reminds me of how cozy it feels to be home. For those two reasons, I guess this made sense to me as a diptych.
And as luck would have it, isn't that just the teensiest little bit of bokeh in those sunglasses -- just in time for HBW!
