SPOT THE RAILWAY : Seton Lake, B.C.

Please take a good look and spot the railway in this picturesque location. This is Seton Lake, British Columbia, Canada: the lake is towards the Eastern side of the Coast Range Mountains with the vegetation indicating the rain shadow effect on this side, as typically west to east weather systems have been rung partly dry from passing over Vancouver Island and more westerly sections of the Coast Range.

The railway in question is the former 'Pacific Great Eastern' now 'B.C. Railway' from Vancouver via Pemberton, Lillooet and Prince George to points North.

Though extremely scenic, this line regrettably is freight-only at present.

I feel that some railways fit well into the natural landscape, even adding interest and certainly providing a scenic trip to passengers if feasible, so I have placed my photo, taken in 2014, in my 'Railways In the Landscape' album as well as in 'North American Railroads' album.
