For roughly 2 weeks CN 5258 found itself on CN 580/581 holding down the middle position on the consist most days. Luckily for me on Saturday I found 5258 unhooked and sitting in a brief moment of filtered sunlight.
5258 is one of 2 SD40-2W's which were modified for operating on LNG before the pilot program was deemed unsuccessful.
