For the Farmers...

Here in NSW, Australia we have been declared 100% in drought. This drought is very serious and shouldn't be taken lightly. The farmers have no grass only dust, their animals are starving to death or have died, young animals are vunerable because their Mums have died or are too weak to feed them. Hay is in shortage, this is a huge problem. Hay has been transported from Western Australia and Tasmania but this hay will only last about a week. The biggest heartache of this drought is the suicide rate in farmers. They just can't take anymore.

Here in Newcastle a man had a dream to take a truckload of goods to farmers In Coonabarabran. That dream became huge. About $80k worth, over 200 pallets of goods, and over 100 people helping him. 8 semi-trailer loads drove to Coonabarabran and visited 12 remote areas. The farmers are doing it real tough...they cried 😒 when they saw what had been donated.

I organised donations through my work and we took two car loads to the park where it was all collected. I stayed all morning photographing, watching the huge response.

One mans dream became a reality. Look it up up Facebook "Fill a truck for farmers".

Aussies are known to help out their mates in need, this is who we are...

This weekend we may get a little rain, we all pray for this...
