1994 Audi RS2 Avant
I'm big on hot estates, but Audi's RS range of performance estates are some of the most scalding out there. The current RS4 and RS6 offer senile performance and technology with masses of load space and practicality.
The first hot Audi estate (and the first RS) was the rare RS2, although the Volvo 850 T5R was quicker and larger, the RS2 is miles prettier and still produced 315bhp. I'd never seen one before until seeing this stunning example, which has been in current ownership since April 1998. It probably cost a pretty penny then at 4 years old and the owner I'd imagine knows that they are sitting on a goldmine - these cars change hands for exceptional sums of money for what's essentially a 20-odd year old family car. The Porsche alloys bizarrely are factory fit, as the car was jointly development with the Stuttgart based firm.
Only 182 were sold in RHD, making this a rare beast indeed especially parked on the street, albeit a very wealthy and affluent street.
It's due a fresh MOT shortly, but last March it was showing 192k, which is mind-blowing for such a collectable car.
