2005 Opel Astra 1.6 Elegance XEL
Normally an Astra wouldn't grab my attention, but the fact that this one is a genuine Opel grabbed my attention. Supplied by Factory Outlet Cars, which was based at the Dalton Park Shopping Centre in Murton, Co Durham used to import boring family hatchbacks such as the Astra and Nissan Almera from Cyprus, make them UK road legal and flog them at bargain basement prices. If I recall back in 2005 you could buy these for under £8000 with a 3 year warranty.
This one has been in the same hands since new and had covered 94k at last MOT in June, covering about 9k a year which is about right,
