Scopoli's Shearwater, Bonifacio (Corsica) to Santa Teresa (Sardinia) ferry, 18-Apr-08
Some think that the Mediterranean (nominate) form of Cory's Shearwater ("Scopoli's Shearwater") should be treated as a separate species from the Atlantic form borealis.
The ferry on the way back from Corsica to Sardinia steamed through a raft of about 45 allowing some nice views. A little beyond the range of my 300mm lens, but you can tell what they are!
