This Oystercatcher appears to be nesting in an old tree stump - very unusual as they usually nest on the ground. However, it has been there for much longer than the normal incubation period for Oystercatchers, and it's very late for an Oystercatcher to be nesting, so perhaps there is an alternative explanation.
