The Seealpsee is an alpine lake (1'142 meters) in the Alpstein with rare beauty. It is protected by high mountains which it reflects in different ways depending on the light and the clouds.
The Horst mountain closes the Seealp valley with its stunning geologic shape. Behind the Horst and slightly to the right we can see the Säntis with its high antenna.
The Alpstein mountain range is an absolute gem. It is a region of green highland pastures, rocks, cows, and milk. Did you ever tasted a fromage from Appenzell ? Chances are that the milk comes from here. Give it a try. You will see what I mean...
