Maserati Barchetta - 1992

Introduced in the early 1990s, and designed by Carlo Gaino of Synthesis Design. This mid-engine racing car was conceived for the exclusive one-make racing series, the Grantrofeo Barchetta, which spanned 1992 and 1993 across Italy and Europe, featuring a total of 16 races. True to its name, the Barchetta ("little boat" in Italian) embraced an open-top design. It was a bold attempt to recapture the brand's racing glory and inject new enthusiasm into Maserati's legacy.
