In 1997, the Grimaldi dynasty celebrated the seventh centenary of its presence in Monaco. To mark this anniversary with dignity, the Monegasques offered, on May 31 of that same year, Prince Rainier III this superb Cisitalia 202 convertible. It was with an identical model that the Prince took part in the opening of the Monaco Grand Prix , in 1948.
