Sandford GS - 1927

Inspired by the Morgan 3-wheelers that he used to sell, plus the ever more powerful engines customers fitted to these vehicles, Paris-based Englishman Steward Sandford developed his own 3-wheeler, the Sandford, in 1922.

 

This Sandford is fitted with a Ruby 4-cylinder engine and an unusual 4-speed transmission. They were formidable competitors in cyclecar races.
